Mr. Parker has over thirty years of experience in the labor and employment law area. Prior to joining the firm in 1978, Mr. Parker was in-house labor counsel for a large tire manufacturer in Akron, Ohio, where he was responsible for a variety of labor law matters including numerous representation elections, labor contract negotiations and arbitrations.

Besides experience in the defense of actions brought under Title VII and other federal and state employment discrimination statutes, Mr. Parker assists clients in maintaining a union-free work environment. His practice includes the counseling and representation of employers in matters before the National Labor Relations Board. He has extensive experience in the area of NLRB representation and decertification elections, unfair labor practice proceedings, labor arbitrations, and collective bargaining matters. He advises clients on compliance with both state and federal labor laws and is a frequent speaker on employment law matters to various industry, professional, and civic groups.

Mr. Parker is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and was named by Labor Relations Institute as one of the Top 100 Labor Lawyers in the United States for 2006.
